New York, July 15 -- The eighth World Hindi Conference being held in New York is witnessing a sizable presence of Indian Diaspora.
Around 250 NRIs have attended the conference, which is held after every four years to promote the Hindi language.
Dr Rishi Agrawal, a UK-based eye surgeon hailing from Lucknow, says though he has been staying in Britain for over three decades, this has not severed his bond with his mother tongue.
Despite being a busy medical practitioner he works tirelessly to promote Hindi in the UK. "I am an eye surgeon by profession, but Hindi language always attracts me," says Dr Agrawal.
