Indiana bankers reached nearly 20,000 youth in April through the annual Teach Children to Save program, coordinated by the Indiana Bankers Association.
Fifty banks, more than one-fourth of IBA membership, participated in Teach Children to Save month in April. A total of 323 bank associates made 654 presentations to schools and youth groups, reaching 19,540 children grades K-12 with information basics about why and how to save money for the future.
April's financial literacy outreach is a snapshot of banks' year-round efforts to educate consumer about wise money management. Teach Children to Save events are sponsored annually by the American Bankers Association Education Foundation. April ...
