The Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration issued the following news release:

A Washington County woman is charged with TennCare fraud for misrepresenting information on her application for the public healthcare insurance program.

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) today announced the arrest of Kathleen Jennings-DeMedici, 33, Johnson City. Her arrest was assisted by the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The indictment charges Jennings-DeMedici with committing theft of property of up to $10,000 and TennCare fraud - both felonies - by intentionally failing to report during TennCare recertification that she had access to healthcare insurance through her employer, which would ...
