The city of Grand Junction issued the following news release:

During the regular Grand Junction City Council meeting tonight, City Council unanimously approved a resolution appointing Interim City Manager Laurie Kadrich as Grand Junction City Manager. Laurie accepted the appointment, subject to finalization of contract negotiations.

Kadrich has been serving as Interim City Manager for the City of Grand Junction since former City Manager David Varley took a leave of absence on May 3 and subsequently resigned from the position on June 14.
