Indiana State Sen. Robert N. Jackman, R-42nd District, issued the following news release:
State Sen. Bob Jackman (R-Milroy) says he was "listening to constituents" today when he cast his vote in favor of moving the discussion of the proposed Commerce Connector on to the House of Representatives for further consideration.
Jackman joined 35 other Republican and Democrats in supporting Senate Bill 1, which would continue-with extensive legislative oversight-the planning stages for the 75-mile bypass around Indianapolis.
