Living up to his pledge to disclose projects that are on track to receive federal funding, Rep. Brad Ellsworth today announced he requested federal funds for the installation of emergency warning sirens in Vanderburgh County. The $135,000 in funding was included as part of the FY 2008 Commerce, Justice and Science Appropriations measure approved by the House. The funds were requested by the Vanderburgh County Commission and will be used to install nine outdoor emergency warning sirens.
