Article: KANSAS CITY CONSOLIDATES SALVAGE YARD PERMIT PROCESS

The city of Kansas City issued the following news release:

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Tow Services Division now issues salvage yard permits.

"We reduced the number of departments and divisions an applicant works with to get a salvage yard permit from six to two," said Mike Schumacher, manager of the Tow Services Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department. "Now, all of the required inspections are completed by the Tow Services Division and the Fire Department."
