Rep. Michael R. Turner, R-Ohio (3rd CD), issued the following news release:
U.S. Representatives Michael Turner (R-Centerville) and Dave Hobson (R-Springfield) announced today that the full House Appropriations Committee has approved $535 million in funding for Ohio defense projects included in the Fiscal Year 2008 Defense Appropriations bill.
The funding supports a variety of research and development programs at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), and other facilities in the Miami Valley and Central Ohio regions.
