The North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources' Arts Council issued the following news release:

Tabula Rasa and the North Carolina Public Art Network will host a professional development seminar for artists working in eastern North Carolina on Saturday, May 12 in Wilmington.

The seminar, Expanding Your Career: Tools to Compete for Public Art Commissions, will introduce established studio artists to the growing field of public art and will provide specific information, skills and materials to prepare participating artists to compete for public art commissions.
