Article: Suburban's famous pecan pie surfaces with original recipe

CHERYL Arnaud had written that there was a restaurant in Brandon called the Suburban in the late 1950s and early 1960s that was famous for its pecan pie. The pie had an almost translucent filling. She wondered if anyone might have this particular recipe. Thanks to Karen Taylor of Brandon, she can have the original recipe.

Karen sent a photocopy of the recipe that she writes "is in Lil Workman's own handwriting. She was the lady who developed the recipe and did all of the baking for the Suburban.
