Article: WACO, Texas: Baylor University To Participate in National 'College Colors Day'

Baylor University, a component of the public university system in Texas, issued the following news release:

Baylor University is encouraging its students, alumni, faculty and staff to wear their Baylor green and gold colors on Aug. 31, as the university participates in the nationwide "College Colors Day," sponsored by the Collegiate Licensing Co. (CLC)

The third annual event is set to coincide with college football's kickoff weekend. According to CLC, College Colors Day "seeks to celebrate and promote the spirit that makes college traditions great."
