Article: Michigan Inventors Develop Communication Network Data Rate Adaptation Controller

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 23 -- Pierre T. Kabamba, Semyon M. Meerkov, Wayne E. Stark and Choon Yik Tang, all from Ann Arbor, Mich., have developed a a communication network data rate adaptation controller.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wireless communication network with improved performance and a method and controller for controlling data rate in the network are provided. The invention provides a feedforward approach to data rate control in wireless networks."
