Article: GOV. O'MALLEY APPOINTS FORMER DEL. KING TO MARYLAND STATE SENATE

Gov. Martin O'Malley, D-Md., issued the following news release:

Today, Governor Martin O'Malley announced his selection of Nancy King to the Maryland State Senate. The former delegate replaces former State Senator P. J. Hogan, who retired earlier this month for a position with the University System of Maryland.

"I am proud to appoint Nancy King to the Maryland State Senate today," said Governor O'Malley. "Nancy King has a proud history in the Maryland House of Delegates representing the people of Montgomery County, and I look forward to continuing to work with her in the Maryland State Senate."
