The Clackamas County government issued the following news release:
North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) services could be provided to residents of the City of Molalla, following a unanimous vote by the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners (BCC) Thursday approving an agreement between NCPRD and the city. Citizens are expected to vote on the annexation in May 2008.
Earlier this year the BCC agreed on offering services to areas throughout the county where residents would desire it as well as being effective and efficient. Today's agreement approved the development of a plan and to get the public outreach and annexation process under way.
