Article: IOWA CITY, Iowa: Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center Awards Seed Grant Funds

The University of Iowa of issued the following news release:

Leaders with Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa today announced a $10,000 grant for cancer research to a physician who cares for patients at UI Children's Hospital.

M. Sue O'Dorisio, M.D., Ph.D., professor in the UI Department of Pediatrics, will serve as the principal investigator on a Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center Seed Grant for Translational Project Development and Clinical Trials. The grant term will be Sept. 1, 2007, through Aug. 31, 2008.
