The fourth annual AACTA (African American Council of the Arts) Onyx Awards celebrating excellence in dance and theater was Pittsburgh's version of the Tony awards, complete with special guest Tamara Tunie.
Tunie received the newly created Pride of Pittsburgh award, given to an individual who has either lived or was educated in Pittsburgh and has excelled in the arts or serves as positive role model.
