The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Attorney's office for the Northern District of Iowa issued the following press release:
United States Attorney Matt M. Dummermuth announced today that a Cedar Rapids man was sentenced August 17, 2007, to over 21 years in federal prison for dealing over a ton of marijuana.
MICHAEL DAVID KNIGHT, age 26, from Cedar Rapids, pled guilty on January 12, 2007, to conspiracy to distribute more than 1,000 kilograms of marijuana and to conspiring with others to commit money laundering.
In a plea agreement, KNIGHT admitted that, between January 2002 and July 2004, he and others traveled from Cedar Rapids to Arizona to obtain marijuana to distribute in the Cedar ...
