COLLINS AND RAGLAND DO IT AGAIN

SCORE'S 2007 Baja 500 was a giant event, with over 500 starters making their way through the hills of Northern Baja. Brian Collins and the ageless Larry Ragland (now 67-years-young) teamed in their Chevrolet Trophy-Truck to make it two-in-a-row overall wins at the 500.

The battle was with the terrain, as it usually is, and even though SCORE had rerouted one section of the course to avoid some "impassable" silt and added two hours to the time allowance, the terrain was the winner in many cases. Silt hills developed and traffic jams caused long lines of waiting cars. Some teams stationed 4WD trucks at strategic spots to keep the course clear, but narrow trails ...
