Warhol's "Elvis 1964," $156,000, Rago Arts

A work by Andy Warhol titled, "Elds 1964" (1968), sold for $156,000 at a sale of Post-War and Contemporary Art held May 19-20 by Rago Arts & Auction Center in Lambertville, N.J. Also, Roy Lichtenstein's "Aloha, 1962" (1969) also crossed the block for $156,000; another Warhol work, titled "Saturday Disaster" (1964) went for $138,000; "Underwear" by Marlene Dumas realized $42,000; Robert Arneson's "Splat" achieved $26,400; and a work by Arman (Pierre Fernandez), titled, "Perses Neije 1 (Box With Toothbrushes)" changed hands for $25,200.
