Rep. Randy Neugebauer, R-Texas (19th CD), issued the following news release:

Congressman Randy Neugebauer (TX-19) is pleased by a recent Air Force decision announcing that beginning in mid-September, Dyess Air Force base will finally receive the go-ahead to repair its runway infrastructure. This restoration will be performed by the 823rd Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron.

"This is fantastic for the future of Dyess Air Force base and the Abilene community," Neugebauer said. "These repairs will continue to ensure that Dyess is at the forefront of military response in the Global War on Terror and it will continue to serve as a longtime component of our nation's ...
