Article: ARAPAHOE COUNTY STUDENT CHARGED AFTER SENDING THREATENING TEXT MESSAGE

Arapahoe County issued the following news release:

On August 30, 2007, at approximately 8:30 A.M. a parent, while at home, noticed a text message on his daughter's cell phone depicting a cartoon character holding a pipe bomb, the message inferred that the pipe bomb was for a teacher at Peakview Elementary School. The parent responded to Peakview Elementary School, 19451 East Progress Circle in Centennial, Colorado to confront his daughter about the text message. His daughter advised that she was unaware of the message.
