The town of Frisco issued the following news release:
The towns of Dillon, Frisco and Silverthorne and Summit County will host a "fly-over" with three vintage warplanes on Saturday, September 1 at noon (backup date is Sunday, September 2). the flyoner was originally scheduled on August 4 to coincide with the opening ceremonies of the Lake Dillon Marina Open Regatta sail boat races and was cancelled due to weather.
Pilots Col Jack Wilhite (USAF Ret), Joe Thibedeau, and Mark Johnson will kickoff the opening ceremony and first races of the Dillon Open Regatta with at least two passes over Lake Dillon and Frisco Main Street. Featured planes include a MiG-17, a British Venom Jet and a Hawker Sea ...
