Article: COAST GUARD TO ENFORCE SUPERFERRY SECURITY ZONE

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard, 14th District, issued the following press release:

The U.S. Coast Guard will continue to enforce a security zone around the Hawaii Superferry Alakai and asks for the public's help in ensuring the safety of all mariners as the vessel enters and departs local ports.

The Coast Guard Captain of the Port says enforcement of the security zone is paramount in ensuring the safety of all mariners - those aboard the Alakai and those on other watercraft or on shore.
