Article: COLORADO JUDICIAL BRANCH OPENS APPLICATION PERIOD FOR JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSIONS ATTORNEY POSITIONS

The Colorado State Judicial branch issued the following press release:

On behalf of Governor Bill Ritter, Attorney General John Suthers and Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey, the Colorado Judicial Branch has opened the application period for 22 attorney positions on judicial nominating commissions. The positions will be vacated when current commissioners' six-year terms end Dec. 31. Applications are due on or before Oct. 19, 2007.

There will be 20 openings for attorneys to serve on 15 judicial district nominating commissions, which select nominees for county and district judgeships, and two openings for attorneys on the Supreme Court Nominating Commission, which selects nominees for judges of ...
