The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard, 14th District, issued the following press release:
The Coast Guard has announced security plans for the transit of the Superferry Alakai tomorrow to Kahului Harbor in Maui for the main purpose of retrieving personal property of previous passengers.
A 100 yard moving security zone will be enforced around the ferry as it transits into and out of Kahului Harbor tomorrow afternoon.
All people on and in the water, including boaters, kayakers and people on surf boards, must remain at least 100 yards away from the vessel.
