ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- Christian Stahli of Glarus, Switzerland, has developed a microwave capability broiling oven enclosure.
According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Oven enclosure with microwave functionality, in which, at a short distance from an enclosure bottom panel, support elements are provided for accommodating a microwave-permeable base plate serving as a food holder."
The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,265,326 on Sept. 4.
The patent has been assigned to Electrolux Schwanden AG, Schwanden, Switzerland.
