Article: Maine Inventors Develop Patient Exhaled Air Peak Flow Meter

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 11 -- Walter Manchester and Donald Parent, both of Windham, Maine, Ronald P. Marcotte of Gray, Maine, Donald Henton of Brunswick, Maine, and Tully Gehan of Portland, Maine, have developed a patient exhaled air peak flow meter.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "peak flow meter for measuring a peak flow or air exhaled by a patient. The preferred peak flow meter includes a substantially hollow housing having a top portion, a bottom portion, an air inlet and at two air outlets.
