Article: Connecticut Inventors Develop Air Filter Clogging Detection Method

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 12 -- Pengju Kang of Hartford, Conn., Mohsen Farzad of Glastonbury, Conn., Slaven Stricevic of Willimantic, Conn., Payman Sadegh of Manchester, Conn., and Alan M. Finn of Hebron, Conn., have developed an air filter clogging detection method.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "method and system for detecting and predicting air filter condition for an air handling system operates by determining a system resistance to air flow.
