Gov. Charlie Crist, R-Fla., has issued the following executive order:
EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBER 07-63
(Emergency Management/Extension of Executive Order 07-21)
WHEREAS, the State of Florida continues to recover from the cumulative impact of a tornadic activity on December 25, 2006 and February 2, 2007; and
WHEREAS, on February 2, 2007, Executive Order 07-21 was issued declaring a state of emergency due to a second round of tornadoes affecting Lake and Volusia Counties; and
WHEREAS, Executive Order 07-21 will expire on April 4, 2007; and
WHEREAS, select programs within the Department of Children and Families remain essential to expedite recovery of individuals traumatized by the event(s); and
