Gov. Jim Doyle, D-Wis., issued the following appointment:
Governor Jim Doyle, Commander in Chief of the Wisconsin National Guard, today announced that Colonel Donald Dunbar will serve as the next Adjutant General of the Wisconsin National Guard. From disasters at home to wars abroad, the Wisconsin National Guard has faced historic challenges over the last five years, and the Governor thanked current Adjutant General Al Wilkening for his dedicated service. The official change in command will occur at a ceremony on Friday.
