Article: EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBER 07-23: GOV. CRIST ISSUES EXECUTIVE ORDER THAT EXTENDS ASSIGNMENT OF STATE ATTORNEY SATZ TO ELEVENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT

Gov. Charlie Crist, R-Fla., has issued the following executive order:

EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBER 07-23

WHEREAS, the Honorable MICHAEL J. SATZ, State Attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, was previously assigned by Executive Order 04-19, as extended by Executive Orders 05-32 and 06-14, to the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida to represent the State of Florida concerning the filing of a Petition for Involuntary Commitment under the Jimmy Ryce Act against Khalie Hamid; and

WHEREAS, the Assigned State Attorney has advised the Governor that the duties required by the previous executive assignment have not yet been completed in this case; and
