Pet a guinea pig. Dig for fossils. See a penny shatter before your very eyes. Make a straw squawker. It's all at Science Saturdays at the Science Museum of Virginia, Saturdays, Oct. 6-Oct. 27, noon-4 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 6, is Mammal Day. At noon and 2 p.m. identify mammals by examining their skulls.
