WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 -- Rep. Mike Thompson, D-California, has introduced a resolution (H.Con.Res. 213) "celebrating the outstanding contributions of California's wine industry to the State, the Nation, and winemaking as a whole, and supporting the goals and ideals of 'California Wine Month'."

The resolution, introduced on Sept. 18, has 31 co-sponsors. It was referred to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
