Article: Michigan Inventors Develop Vehicle Navigation System with Multi-Use Display

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 22 -- Yoshikazu Koshiji and Yoichi Hori, both of Ann Arbor, Mich., have developed a vehicle navigation system with multi-use display.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "vehicle navigation system (e.g., global positioning system) with multi-use display generator that provides for the switching of a displayed image from a navigational based image to a non-navigational image such as a favorite photo.
