The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Attorney's office for Massachusetts issued the following press release:

SPECIALTY DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, INC., a subsidiary of Express Scripts, Inc., agreed today to a deferred prosecution of illegal distribution of human growth hormone. In connection with this agreement, SPECIALTY DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, INC. has accepted responsibility for its conduct, agreed to pay a penalty of $10.5 million, changed its business practices to prevent any future distribution of human growth hormone for athletic performance enhancement, cosmetic or anti-aging uses, and committed to cooperating in ongoing human growth hormone investigations.
