PATTIE Boyd inspired three transcendent songs written by her two husbands -- George Harrison's Something, and Eric Clapton's Layla and Wonderful Tonight.

Her personal allure, therefore, is unquestionable; however, her tedious memoir lacks any such attraction.

She rightfully claims to have been "the muse of two such extraordinarily creative musicians and having beautiful, powerful love songs written about me."

But her self-portrayal sheds little light on the magic behind the songs.

Boyd met Harrison when she had a small part in the Beatles' ...
