The city of Jersey City issued the following press release:
Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy and the Jersey City 9-11 Memorial Committee will host the annual 9-11 Memorial Service "Reflections," to be held from 8:20 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at the foot of Grand Street on the Jersey City waterfront.
On Sept. 11, 2001, Jersey City lost 37 of its own in the devastating terrorist attacks at Ground Zero. The events of that day unfolded across the Hudson River, and Jersey City's waterfront became a staging ground in the recovery and relief efforts.
