The city of Austin issued the following press release:

The Commute Solutions Coalition of Central Texas is celebrating the end of this year's Commute Solutions Month with an event that could only happen in Austin. It's the fourth annual Weirdest Commute Contest.

On Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, folks are invited to arrive at Wooldridge Square using their weirdest forms of transportation. Contestants have a chance to win two concert tickets to see Ben Harper at San Antonio's Majestic Theater plus one night hotel stay.

Prior events have included bicycles of every variety, an accordion-playing unicyclist, a contestant on a motorized barstool and more!
