The Cabinet of the State of Himachal Pradesh has decided to bring all the State Government employees under Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme, said the Himachal Government in a press release:

The verbatim text of the release said:

The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet in its meeting held here today decided to bring all the regular, adhoc, contractual, part-time and daily wage employees of government departments, boards, corporations, universities and autonomous bodies of the State, under the fold of Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme and make the same compulsory.

Every such employee will be required to annually contribute Rs. 50 to avail benefits of the scheme. It sanctioned 2,367 posts ...
