Rep. Steven C. LaTourette, R-Ohio (14th CD), issued the following news release:

U.S. Rep. Steven C. LaTourette (R-Bainbridge Township) is one of 28 House members to sign a "Bipartisan Compact on Iraq Debate," a series of eight principles to help guide the House of Representatives away from political infighting and toward a bipartisan solution on Iraq.

"We need to refocus our efforts on civility and bipartisanship if we're going to accomplish anything, and I was pleased to join with so many colleagues from both sides of the aisle in agreement on these basic principles," LaTourette said.
