A new book on the history of continuing education at San José State University, One and the Same: The History of Continuing Education at San José State University 1857 - 2007, is now available as the university marks its sesquicentennial anniversary in 2007.

Authored by James P. Walsh, SJSU emeritus professor of history, the book chronicles the university's history, which began with the founding in 1857 of the Minns' Evening Normal School, in San Francisco.
