The Army Engineer Research and Development Center issued the following news release:
Jose E. Sanchez of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, Miss., has received a professional achievement award from a national Hispanic engineers group.
Sanchez, a supervisory hydraulic engineer in the ERDC Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory, has received the Hispanic Engineers National Achievement Awards Corporation's 2007 military engineering professional achievement award.
An 11-year ERDC employee, Sanchez is its only Hispanic senior manager and is one of few in the Corps. He currently leads the Corps' $200-billion Civil Works Asset Management initiative, putting him ...
