Mohave County issued the following meeting news release:
Mohave County Supervisor Tom Sockwell, Dist. 2, has a message for the private federal prison advocates: "If you want to build here, pay your own way because we are not going to build you a mansion with taxpayer money!"
A proposal for Mohave County to partner with Management Training Corporation (MTC) to bring a private federal prison to Mohave County was discussed during the March 19 Board of Supervisors meeting.
