The city of Portsmouth issued the following press release:

The American Bus Association announced today that the Olde Towne Holiday Music Festival, held annually in Portsmouth on the second Saturday of December, has been designated as one of the Top 100 Events in North America for 2008 by an elite tourism industry selection committee.

The ABA's Top 100 list began as a way for motorcoach operators to incorporate new destinations into their itineraries. Over the years, it has grown to one of the most soughtafter lists by travel professionals, motorcoach operators, and the general public.
