Navy Region Northwest hosted its first Education Summit for southeast regions of Puget Sound on board Naval Station Everett Sept. 27.
Twenty Navy leaders and 15 top educators from the local military bases and school districts met to set the groundwork for a partnership to address the needs of military children and their mobile military lifestyle.
