Rep. Charles W. 'Chip' Pickering, R-Miss. (3rd CD), issued the following news release:

Senators Thad Cochran and Trent Lott, and Congressman Chip Pickering announce a Delta Regional Authority grant of $400,000 to Amite County Medical Services. The funding will allow for construction of a 10,000 square foot facility to house the medical clinic, the dental clinic, and the administrative office. Amite County Medical Services will provide an 18% match. Other funding includes a rural development grant and loan, bringing the total project to $1,670,000.
