Article: New frog species found in Kerala by DU researcher

NEW DELHI, India, Oct. 3 -- The smallest Indian frog has been discovered in the Western Ghats of Kerala by Delhi University Systematics Biologist Dr. S.D. Biju. Talking to the Hindustan Times, Dr. Biju, an amphibian researcher, said: "I found the tiny night frog in Wayanad forest in Kurichiyarmala, Kerala. I grabbed it and was extremely excited. When I put the tiny frog (around 10mm long) under a lamp, I found that it was a fully mature adult."
