The mayor of Cleveland issued the following press release:
The Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority is proudly sponsoring 35 Cleveland youth, ages 13 - 16, as they participate in a Lake Exploration program aboard a three-masted tall ship. The 137-foot long S/V Denis Sullivan, a re-creation of a 19th century Great Lakes schooner, is scheduled to arrive in Cleveland on Tuesday, October 2, 2007. Moored behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Sullivan is making a brief visit on its way south for the winter but not before youth board the vessel today at 3:15pm for a 90-minute voyage.
