The city of Lewiston issued the following news release:
Lewiston City Administrator James A. Bennett has been asked by the International City/County Management Association (ICMA)-through its incoming President, Edwin C. Daley, who serves as City Manager of Hopewell, Virginia-to serve as Chair of the ICMA 2008 Conference Planning Committee. Bennett, a credentialed professional manager, has accepted the invitation and will lead a committee consisting of approximately 80 members representing all regions throughout the world.
