Charlotte County issued the following news release:
Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners joins ENERGY STAR as a partner and makes fundamental commitment to protect the environment through improvement of the County's energy performance. ENERGY STAR is a government program that offers businesses and consumers energy-efficient solutions, making it easy to save money while protecting the environment for future generations. The County is taking an organization-wide energy management approach which will help enhance the County's financial health and aid in preserving the environment for future generations.
